Due to the stable operation and low failure rate of most micro motors, their preventive maintenance is often ignored. Preventive maintenance of micro motor can prolong its service life, maintain output accuracy, help enterprises ensure production quality and reduce maintenance costs. The following is the maintenance steps and methods of micro motor:

1. Timely remove the dust and oil sludge outside the bearing of the micro motor. If there is a lot of dust in the use environment, clean it about once a day.

2. Check and clean the wiring terminals of the micro motor, and check whether the wiring screws of the junction box are loose and burned.

3. For the starting equipment of micro motor, the external dust and dirt shall also be cleaned in time, the contact shall be wiped, and the wiring parts shall be checked for burn marks.

4. Inspection and maintenance of bearings. The bearing should be cleaned and replaced with lubricating grease or oil after being used for a period of time. The cleaning and oil change time shall be determined according to the working condition of the motor, working environment, cleanliness and lubricant type. Replace the grease again. When the oil temperature is high, or the motor with poor environmental conditions and more dust should be cleaned and changed frequently.
